In the imaginary area of Tree Hill in North Carolina and originally accepts the lifestyles of two half-brothers, Lucas Scott and Nathan Scott who contend for positions on their school's basketball team, this is the main clue of One Tree Hill DVD. Their romantic relationship advances from heartless enemies to caring brothers as the show advances, and the drama that develops from the basketball setting and the brothers' romances with female heroes are important features within the series. The first four seasons of the show give attention to the significant characters' lives through their great school years. With the outset of the fifth season, Schwahn opted to miss the timeline four years ahead, featuring their lives after college. In the seventh season, he adjusted the timeline fourteen months into the future after the sixth season. The starting credits were originally intertwined with the song "I Don't Want to Be" by Gavin DeGraw performing in the backdrop. The idea in One Tree Hill dvd set was eradicated from the opening in the fifth season; Schwahn said the decision was built to lower output costs, add more more time for the storyline, and mainly because he felt that the song was more agent of the core characters' teenage past, not their present maturation. The credit then only consisted of the title written on a black qualifications. The theme was restored for season 8, thanks to audience demand, and was sung by distinctive artists each week.
