Ok here are clear big photos of these actresses and actors that will play the characters. I think the cast is pretty good even if they dont look like their characters with the exception of Lucy Hale as Aria.

nO no no no i do NOT like wh othe cast is i could probably pick a better cast i mean yea the look okay but they DONT fit the character!!! just use the models on the book cover!!!!

a lot of the girls are beautiful it just always bothers me when they never match the descripton, really it does

Yeah I have to say the cast is definetly attractive but its just a shame they dont macth the characters!

It's a major disappointment i think the best movie/ book matching cast was Harry Potter it was like PERFECT

The girl who's going to play Mona is beautiful... i think she's too beautiful too die and be evil this is gonna make my sad

She doesnt look at all like I pictured Mona though. Oh God how stupid ARE these people shes not even blond! She should have been Maya!

I can imagine all of the girls on Pretty Little liars looking gorgeous and glamarous when they are on TV, with the makeup/lighting they will look great. I think Ashley Benson and Lucy Hale are the most beautiful girls though out of the entire cast.

I HATE it when characters die. I just dont like the feeling knowing that some of these characters will die at the end, I wish they didn't because I might be complaining that the cast is miscast but I know that when I watch the programme the characters will somehow win me over as time goes by and it will be sad to see them leave and just be the end.

i know right? I also htink the girl whos playing mona is one of the prettiest my least favorite though is whos playing spencer they got it all wrong

Yeah I think Mona is very pretty as well. I dont like Spencer either she is so miscast!

I think the whole cast is miscast EXCEPT for Lucy Hale as Aria to be honest.

They are beautiful girls in their own way but the thing that annoys me is that they look the complete opposite of what their character is supposed to look like, I mean did they do it on purpose lol, honestly I would have thought atleast 80% of the actresses would look like their characters but only 2% do.

So lets see the main cast

Lucy as Aria- Perfect

Ashley- Hannah is supposed to have blonde hair, she should have been spencer!

Trojan- She is not supposed to look eura-asian she has blonde hair!

Shay- Again Emily has blonde hair and is not asian.

And I dont have anything against asian characters but I dont understand why they did complete opposites? hmm

i know it's like a total one 180 identtity crisis maybe? sometimes i dont even thiink the poeple who do the casting or try o ut even read the books...

I am tryin to look at the positive side of it, I think no one can have their dream cast for any TV show.

I think the cast is talented and good at actins its just one thing lacking is that they look nothing like the characters. I mean I dont care about the casting really for the additional characters as they are not the main focus of the show but the people who did the casting should have got it right for the 4 main girls! Oh well we are stuck with this cast so better make the most of it . I guess after all some of the actresses on Twilight look nothing like their characters. Take a look at Nikki Reed as Alice Cullen, she had to bleach her skin to make it pale, and change her hair colour to blonde.

I guess its not that hard to make yourself look pale, or change the hair colour as that can be done easily.

BUT an actress can't change their ethnicty.

I hate it when they cast people that ruin the series for you. I like the books because you can always tell who is who, just by reading and everything, but once theres a movie or TV show, you get confused because they don't look like there characters so you get confused. In the Private wed-isodes I was so annoyed with them, besides the fact of the girl who played Reed. Anyway, I hate the cast, except Lucy, the guy who plays Ezra, and I like the actress who plays Hanna ( shes from Bring It on!!) but I don't like her as a Hanna

I know, shes blonde too, and when they mess with hair color, it just doesn't work! Like when ian saw two blondes the night Ali was murderd, what if they change the persons who killed her to a diffrent hair color? that would be so confusing and I would be so angry
